I was the only official photographer at a great show put on by the band The Divine Comedy. Such a lovely bunch of guys who write some brilliant songs for those out there with a more discerning taste .
Catch them on their new tour http://thedivinecomedy.com/live

Just a handful of the images taken over 4 days at the Hofconcert in Aachen in one of the towns’ most beautiful and historic squares. Bands played here from all over the world and they were all unique and something different.

I’m here all the time so I thought it might make sense to start showcasing in some ways just how beautiful this part of Germany really is.
Off to Weeze in Germany. Back and forth I go.

Deep in the forest in Albania, close to monuments of bygone ages, there lay two peoples sleeping and their dog watching over them keeping guard. All close to a beautiful geyser. A strange and sometimes hostile country that still has lots of charm.

Der Lousberg in Aachen. A vantage point with a spectacular vista into Belgium and Holland.

Of all the walks in Scotland the West Highland Way still holds something special for me.

Glasgow proudly hosts the Commonwealth Games and temperature is just perfect for it. It’s rare that you’ll see so many happy faces but on this day there were so many I couldn’t capture enough of them. Better than taking generic photos of athletes I thought it made sense to show how vibrant and happy the city was in a few photos
The Barras Market in Glasgow.
This man used to be a trader who was at Paddy’s market for many decades.
He believes that the fate of The Barras will be the same as that of Paddy’s Market.
A polite and intelligent man.
Glasgow artist Craig Mulholland having a fly cigarette on Sauchiehall Street
This rotting apple reminded me of Dali’s Un Chien Andalou. The ants were all over the thing until I got the chance to take a photo and then typically they all fled and left and only a few remained.
A man on a fag and tracksuit trouser health kick in Glasgow.
A retired teacher and painter stands directly in the sun but shadows his eyes.
On Great Western Road a young 50’s styled hipster takes her K9 for a walk.
A very cool geezer.
Another very c0ol geezer.

Live newscasts from Glasgow to the greater worlds are almost daily now.
A solitary child sits on Buchanan Street watching a busker playing some more.
A troubled looking man who’s maybe had one too many Sunday pints.
A hipster preacher tells us how it is in the kingdom of god.
A Chinese man looks on as the hipster preacher tries to grab some Glasgow shoppers attention
A torn Scottish flag waves in the wind as two ladies quickly turn their backs to me.
This elderly gent is enjoying a smoke in the sun. Shame about the burn in on the mans hair.
