A Hungarian funeral for my Niki’s dad-MOBILE SHOTS

We sailed 59 little paper ships with candles on them into the Danube from the island that Sandor Barra had stayed. Many of the towns told came out to pay their respects.  A deeply moving experience this was for me.
I took these shots with my mobile.

  1. It’s interesting to see how different societies deal with death..some are reflective with eulogies, extoling the person, others place them within their society, others seem to look at things which made them stand-out from their society . It is a pity sometimes that people never hear good things about themselves, until they are dead…..ironic isn’t it??
